CAN I BE YOUR FRIEND?

Today I received an e-mail from Iran from a young man in Bagdad. He asked if I could be a friend.
Do I even dare be a friend. What will happen to me if I even attempt to be his friend. United States citizens now have to fear their government by even being friends with someone from Iran. What should I do?
